The short version
Our list tracks 23 major data center projects, including active construction, phased expansions and announced developments, across 16 states. Texas has the most, then Louisiana, Mississippi, Indiana and Wisconsin. Most run for years in phases, which is why the work is steadier than turnaround work. Each project below links to its source.
How to read this list
Each project shows who's building it, where, how big it is as announced, and how far along it is. "Phased build-out" means some buildings are done and more are coming, which usually means years of work on one site. "Site work started" means the dirt work is underway and the trades come later.
Sizes are what the owner or the press reported. Power is the usual measure: a 1 gigawatt (GW) campus is one of the largest kind.
We update this list every month. If you're working on a site that isn't here, ask about it in the community and we'll add it once we can source it.

What this means if you're looking for work
The big campuses hire through the GC, the commissioning firm and the major subs, not the owner. Search the GC's name and the city, not just "data center." Many of the jobs are posted by staffing firms, so the company in the posting is often not the company on site.
